What are the available routes for Dubai Ride?
There are two routes:
- Sheikh Zayed Route (12 km): A challenging route for experienced cyclists, passing iconic landmarks such as Museum of the Future, Dubai Water Canal, and Burj Khalifa.

- Downtown Family Route (4 km): A flat and scenic route, suitable for all ages and abilities, passing by Dubai Mall, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa.
Do I need to register for Dubai Ride?
Yes, all participants must register at DubaiRide.com. Dubai Ride is a free event, but registration is required for safety and security reasons. After registering, participants need to collect their bibs from the designated collection point.
Can I register my children for Dubai Ride?
Yes, children can participate. Adults over 21 can add children under 13 to their registration. Children aged 13 to 21 can register individually but must have parental or guardian consent.
Can I register as a group with my friends?
No, each adult must register individually for safety reasons. If you want to ride with friends, we recommend registering at the same start gate and arranging to meet at the event.
Where do I collect my bib?
Bibs can be collected from Dubai Municipality Zabeel Park 30 x 30 Fitness Village starting on 26 October 2024. Further details will be provided after registration.
Can people of determination participate in Dubai Ride?
Yes, people of determination are welcome. A dedicated support team will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. For more information, please contact us.
What is the event date and schedule?
Event Date: 10 November 2024
Timings:
- Speed Laps: 5:00 AM - 6:00 AM
- Dubai Ride: 6:15 AM - 8:15 AM
Where can I park?
Parking is available near the start gates. Detailed route maps will be shared with registered participants to help plan your journey.
What time can I arrive before the event?
The routes open at 6:15 AM, and all cyclists are expected to start by 7:30 AM. The route will remain open until 8:00 AM.
Are rental bikes available for Dubai Ride?
No, there are no rental bikes provided at the event. You may contact local cycle shops or bike rental services in Dubai if needed.
Is it mandatory to wear a helmet?
Yes, all participants, including children in bike seats or trailers, must wear helmets to participate in Dubai Ride.
Can I register my children for Dubai Ride?

No, there are no rental bikes provided at the event. You may contact local cycle shops or bike rental services in Dubai if needed.
Is Dubai Ride a race?
No, Dubai Ride is a community event. It is not a timed race, and the focus is on enjoying the experience. Please ride at a comfortable pace and follow the speed limits on the routes.
Can people of determination participate in Dubai Ride?

Is it mandatory to wear a helmet?
Yes, all participants, including children in bike seats or trailers, must wear helmets to participate in Dubai Ride.
Will there be water stations available?
Yes, there will be Mai Dubai Hydration Stations along the routes. However, participants are encouraged to bring their own refillable water bottles in support of the Dubai Can sustainability initiative.
What should I wear for the event?
Wear comfortable sports clothing suitable for cycling. Keep in mind that it may be cold before sunrise but will warm up later in the morning. All participants must wear closed sports shoes and a helmet.
Can I ride with my family and friends?
Yes, but please be considerate of other cyclists. Avoid blocking the route and leave space for faster riders to pass.

What is Dubai Ride Speed Laps?
Dubai Ride Speed Laps is a no speed limit ride that happens from 5:00 AM until 6:00 AM. Speed Laps Riders must adhere to the following requirement:
- Rider can maintain the average speed of 30km/h
- Rider has experience riding in a peloton
- Rider has a bike that can maintain the average speed
- Rider will obey the instructions of the Dubai Ride Marshalls
How do I register for Dubai Ride Speed Laps?
Participants can register at DubaiRide.com. Via the Dubai Ride Speed Laps page.
Can Dubai Ride Speed Laps participants also participate in Dubai Ride afterwards?
Yes, Dubai Speed Laps participants will be allowed to join Dubai Ride, however you will need to register separately and collect separate bibs.
Can my kids take part in Dubai Ride Speed Laps?
No, due to safety reasons individuals and kids under the age of 21 would not be able to register or attend Dubai Ride Speed Laps.
Can I start at any gate for Dubai Ride Speed Laps?
No, Dubai Ride Speed Laps will start from a single gate that will be communicated upon registration. However, riders can exit the route at any of the finish gates prior to 6:00 AM.
